About Anthos|Home
Anthos|Home is an innovative new nonprofit that will transform the system by which New York City residents with housing subsidies locate and rent available housing.
Anthos|Home is modeled on Brilliant Corners in California, a successful housing clearinghouse that uses a flexible pool of funding to administer and quickly find apartments for tenants.
Anthos|Home will help to streamline the apartment search, approval, and move-in processes, and fill in gaps in the current NYC voucher housing market process. The organization will be a game- changer for New Yorkers who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness and for the public systems that serve them.
The Operations Specialist reports to the Director of Operations and will provide critical support to the Housing Acquisition and Tenant Coordination teams, assisting in administrative support. They will work closely with our external support firms, government agencies, nonprofits, landlords, and internal Anthos|Home team. We are looking for data enthusiasts, team-oriented and mission-driven individuals.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE ABILITY TO:
Process and review housing voucher packages for various housing voucher programs
Manage communication with brokers and property owners for timely submission of forms
Review the landlord and tenant forms (packages) as a final step in the quality assurance process
Communicate with internal teams for move-in inquiries
Maintain confidential tenant and landlord files and assist in matching households to apartments
Serve as a subject matter expert on application and matching processes
Expedite voucher holder matching and move-in process within 30 days
Respond to general inquiries and collaborate with partners to streamline processes
Create dashboards and prepare reports in Salesforce for project teams
Provide expertise in agreements between landlords and brokers
Ensure data integrity and attention to detail in tracking systems
Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality
Schedule repairs and inspections with vendors
Inspect units for repairs and assess scope and cost
Manage unit access and vendor database
Bid out contract services and monitor vendor performance
Manage payments to vendors and allocate expenses appropriately
Order furnishings and supplies, schedule moving, maintain inventory database, and coordinate renter's insurance policies
Adhere closely to internal controls and policies
Collaborate with accounting partner for payment tracking and audit preparation
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree and/or candidate must have three years or more of experience working in administrative or operations support role.
Additional Skills Include:
Must have strong technical aptitude, with advanced proficiency in utilizing MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus e. Salesforce.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Must be detail-oriented and an effective problem-solver.
Excellent communication, analytical, record-keeping and organizational skills required.
Experience managing apartment repairs, engaging with maintenance or repair companies, and/or in real estate a plus.
An ability to work independently and in a collaborative setting.
Passion for the mission of the organization.
Ability to work in a diverse environment.
Experience managing lease agreements a plus.
Work Environment
- • Competitive Pay: $65,000-$75,000 salary range (dependent on experience)
• WFH/Hybrid work: 3 days required in office each week
