About Anthos|Home

Anthos|Home is an innovative new nonprofit that will transform the system by which New York City residents with housing subsidies locate and rent available housing.

 

Anthos|Home is modeled on Brilliant Corners in California, a successful housing clearinghouse that uses a flexible pool of funding to administer and quickly find apartments for tenants.

 

Anthos|Home will help to streamline the apartment search, approval, and move-in processes, and fill in gaps in the current NYC voucher housing market process. The organization will be a game- changer for New Yorkers who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness and for the public systems that serve them.

The Operations Supervisor will report to the Director of Operations and support leadership and oversight to the entire Operations department, including but not limited to the Finance Operations Specialists and Operations Specialists, supporting the Housing Acquisition and Tenant Coordination functions.

They will support the management of daily Anthos|Home operations, including overseeing Housing Packets, Voucher Submissions, Repairs, Move-ins, Payments, etc.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Experience in New York City and having worked in or around social services is a plus.



Key responsibilities include the ability to:


  • Supervises the Operations Specialist teams, providing guidance and support in their daily activities.

  • Ensure timely processing and accurate review of housing voucher packages for various housing voucher programs.

  • Supervise the approval and issuance of hold fee, rent arrears, broker consultant fees, and repair payments on a weekly basis

  • Co-facilitate weekly departmental and one-on-one meetings alongside the Director of Operations

  • Support management of the Operations Team with scheduling and completion of repairs and ongoing service contracts with vendors and providers, prioritizing emergency situations and maintaining a fast-paced, detail-oriented approach.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all landlord and broker agreements, participant application submissions, landlord and tenant documentation, and program-specific payments to provide quality assurance and data integrity.

  • Expedite processes to enable that operations can quickly place voucher holders into apartments within 30 days.

  • Liaise with the Tenant Coordination and Housing Acquisition Departments to address move-in inquiries.

  • Safeguard confidential tenant files and provide responsive support for general inquiries.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify opportunities for system and process improvements.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on the application and matching process, providing guidance and insights to all stakeholders.

  • Support the creation of dashboards and reports for project teams, ensuring accurate and reliable data.

  • Prepare ad hoc reports and assist with projects as needed.

  • Continue to build and define the Operations Department in coordination with the Director of Operations.

  • Fulfill other duties assigned by the supervisor.

  • Uphold a commitment to excellent customer service and maintain strict confidentiality.

Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for a hard-working, passionate individual who will have either a Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or Business, or a minimum of three years of experience in an administrative or operations support role.



Additional Skills Include:


  • Strong technical aptitude with advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus, ex. Salesforce

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines concurrently.

  • Detail-oriented mindset and effective problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse environment.

  • Passion for the mission of Anthos|Home and commitment to its goals.

Work Environment

    • Competitive Pay: $85,000 - $90,000 salary range, commensurate with experience

    • WFH/Hybrid work; 3 days will be required in the office each week
