About Anthos|Home
Anthos|Home is an innovative new nonprofit that will transform the system by which New York City residents with housing subsidies locate and rent available housing.
Anthos|Home is modeled on Brilliant Corners in California, a successful housing clearinghouse that uses a flexible pool of funding to administer and quickly find apartments for tenants.
Anthos|Home will help to streamline the apartment search, approval, and move-in processes, and fill in gaps in the current NYC voucher housing market process. The organization will be a game- changer for New Yorkers who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness and for the public systems that serve them.
The Director of Operations will provide leadership and oversight to the entire Operations department, including but not limited to the Finance Operations Specialist and Operations Specialist, supporting the Housing Acquisition and Tenant Coordination functions. Collaborating with external partners, government agencies, nonprofits, landlords, and internal teams, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of administrative support functions.

Experience in New York City and having worked in or around Social Services is a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE ABILITY TO:
Oversee the Finance Operations Specialist and Operations Specialist teams, providing guidance and support in their daily activities.
Collaborate closely with external support firms, government agencies, nonprofits, landlords, and internal Anthos|Home team to streamline operations and improve processes.
Ensure timely processing of housing voucher packages for various housing voucher programs.
Manage the scheduling and completion of repairs and ongoing service contracts with vendors and providers, prioritizing emergency situations and maintaining a fast-paced, detail-oriented approach.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date data on tenants, unit listings, and landlords is maintained, facilitating the matching of prospective households to available apartments.
Review landlord and tenant forms as a final step in the quality assurance process.
Expedite processes to enable operations can quickly place voucher holders into apartments within 30 days.
Liaise with the Tenant Coordination and Housing Acquisition Departments to address move-in inquiries.
Safeguard confidential tenant files and provide responsive support for general inquiries.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
Serve as a subject matter expert on the application and matching process, providing guidance and insights to all stakeholders.
Support the creation of dashboards and reports for project teams, ensuring accurate and reliable data.
Maintain data integrity within Anthos|Home tracking systems.
Prepare ad hoc reports and assist with projects as needed.
Continue to build and define the Operations Department in coordination with the COO.
Fulfill other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Uphold a commitment to excellent customer service and maintain strict confidentiality.
Qualifications & Skills
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Bachelor's degree preferred; alternatively, a minimum of five years of experience in an administrative or operations support role.
Strong technical aptitude with advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems is a plus, ex. Salesforce
Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines concurrently.
Detail-oriented mindset and effective problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a diverse environment.

Work Environment
- • Competitive Pay: $90,000 – $110,000 salary range
• WFH/Hybrid work: 2 to 3 days may be required in the office each week
