About Anthos|Home

Anthos|Home is an innovative new nonprofit that will transform the system by which New York City residents with housing subsidies locate and rent available housing.

 

Anthos|Home is modeled on Brilliant Corners in California, a successful housing clearinghouse that uses a flexible pool of funding to administer and quickly find apartments for tenants.

 

Anthos|Home will help to streamline the apartment search, approval, and move-in processes, and fill in gaps in the current NYC voucher housing market process. The organization will be a game- changer for New Yorkers who are unhoused or at risk of homelessness and for the public systems that serve them.

The Director of Data and Evaluation reports to the Chief Strategy Officer and will oversee the day-to-day data quality and reporting needs of the organization. They will work across multiple departments to maintain the integrity of our data and ensure that the reporting processes meet the organization’s needs. The organization depends on data to make critical business decisions and the Director of Data and Evaluation will ensure that program data is transformed into meaningful statistics, information, and explanations. They will have a strong understanding of the organization’s processes, goals, and key metrics and be responsible for developing and delivering the organization’s internal and external reports. They will also play an integral role in staff training and identifying system improvements that will help our programs become more efficient.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:


  • Managing day-to-day operations of the Salesforce system

  • Develop trainings and resources for staff around Salesforce; including training new staff

  • Overseeing the program evaluation process and leading efforts to analyze and measure the organization’s impact

  • Monitoring organization’s data quality and developing data quality strategies to address issues such as: incomplete records, duplicate records, out of date records, etc.

  • Creating and generating high-quality, visual reports and dashboards, both scheduled and upon request

  • Interpreting reports and dashboards for staff across departments, managing a wide range of different organization functions

  • Providing first line response to user issues and supporting users through resolution process

  • Serving as the liaison between technology consultants and program staff

  • Contributing to organization system improvement efforts and incorporating feedback into current data practices

  • Working with leadership team to ensure that data is available to inform organization decision-making processes

  • Developing organization’s data collection policies and procedures

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred, and if not, candidate must have five or more years of experience working in data management, program evaluation and/or data analysis.


Additional Skills Include:


  • Exceptional quantitative skills with a high level of proficiency in data management and analysis

  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce with an ability to create reports and dashboards

  • Project management experience preferred

  • Knowledge of evaluation and performance measurement strategies

  • Ability to assess data quality

  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks and projects

  • Ability to collaborate across teams

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to utilize critical thinking skills in decision-making situations, organizational and record-keeping skills, and independent judgment.

  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Lucidchart, and visualization software

  • Experience with FormAssembly

  • Experience working in human services or housing and a passion for the mission of the organization preferred

  • Ability to work in a diverse environment

Work Environment

    • Competitive Pay: $90,000-$100,000 salary range (dependent on experience)

    • WFH/Hybrid work: 3 days required in the office each week
